Overview
As the Hudson core moves forward it's helpful to verify that the most used plugins still work with the new core. As Hudson is on an Eclipse cycle and releases a major feature release between once or twice a year these tests should help us check and communicate any plugin changes required to the plugin owners.
These tests will be run as early as possible in the release cycle to allow fixes to be made ready and to allow plugin owners to feedback why a core change may need to be altered.
