I have a question on P2.  With P2, can I still copy an extension plugin into the plugins folder to extend my Eclipse instance?  For example, if I use BIRT in Eclipse and I developed a custom data access plugin for my special data source, can I copy this plugin into the plugin folder?

I don't understand why the bundle pool is in a user's folder in the example. This way other users cannot use the applications.

I have a question on P2. With P2, can I still copy an extension plugin into the plugins folder to extend my Eclipse instance? For example, if I use BIRT in Eclipse and I developed a custom data access plugin for my special data source, can I copy this plugin into the plugin folder?

Bundle pooling - why in user folder?

I don't understand why the bundle pool is in a user's folder in the example. This way other users cannot use the applications.
