Subject: Welcome to the Eclipse Architecture Council!

Hello NNN,

thanks for joining the Eclipse Architecture Council.

In case you don't know already, the Architecture Council has a monthly phone meeting every 2nd Thursday of the month at 11am EST -- more details are on the meeting's Agenda page [1]. I'd appreciate if you can make the call - if not, please let me know.

The Web representation of the Architecture Council is not yet quite as elaborate as I'd like it to be, so you'll likely have several questions with respect to what the AC really does, what you gain from it, and how to contribute.

Please keep track of those "newcomer" questions you have. As a newcomer, you're in the unique position of actually having these questions, and your feedback is valuable for us as we're trying to improve our documentation, FAQ's etc. The "notepad" for placing your newcomer questions is on bugzilla bug 250348 [2], please make use of it by asking your questions there.

As your first task, could you please edit the AC Members Wiki page [3] by filling in your name, affiliation, and linking to a short Bio of yours. As AC members, we are potential mentors for new projects, and the idea of the bio is that new projects can understand what members might make particularly good mentors in the area of technology that they are in.

If you have any questions, you can also contact me personally at any time.
