  1. PTP Status
    • 1.1.1 spin
      • A number of users have reported some bugs in the 1.1 release. We have also found some problems in the debugger that are being corrected. Hope to spin a new release in the next couple of weeks.
    • 2.0 status
      • Work continuing on remote service and it looks likely we'll be able to include PE/LL in the release. Release expected around the end of December. Will being to firm up deliverables and test plan in coming months.

      • Largely waiting on Fortran integration
    • Remote support
      • Remote API completed
      • RSE prototype implementation completed
      • IBM has contributed lightweight remote tools to PTP

    • PE/LoadLeveler
      • PE contribution being reviewed internally by IBM
      • Work progressing on LL implementation
    • Debugging
      • Monash have re-implemented debug API to factor out CDI. This will allow the debugger to take advantage of the new flexible debug hierarchy that was introduced in Eclipse 3.2. Code committed to branch on head, still working on bug fixing.

      • Came out of common requirements for scalable tools communication infrastructure identified at PTP workshop. August 21/22 in Hawthorne, NY. Please attend if you are interested.
