- Overall project, releases, etc.
- Last release was Kepler-based PTP 7.0.4 with Kepler SR2 on Feb 28; PTP 7.0.5 ? A couple of bug fixes could be included
- 7.0.5 release tomorrow - April 9 - testing please!
- Next release is Eclipse Luna with our Luna-based PTP 8.0 (Luna == Eclipse 4.4)

- Luna M6+2 was Mar 11 tues (our dates below are +2 dates, Tuesdays)

- 7.0.5 Friday, postponed from Wed, release request from Rodrigo / Linux Tools, ==> move to friday 5pm, includes bug 431913 from Carsten (XML chars) , xxxxxx from Rodrigo
- Any bugs in 7.0.5, make sure the bugzilla item has 7.0.5 listed so we can identify what's fixed
- Luna 8.0.0 M7 - API and feature freeze - Tuesday builds
- UI changes in by RC1, bug fixes from then on only

- Hackathon has been postponed. Late July or early August? Steve is in China July 25 until Aug 6 - propose 2nd and 3rd weeks of Aug Tues-Thurs, steve will do a doodle poll for dates. advertise on ptp-dev.
- Git/Gerrit issues - Steve had to rebase again. Need to rebase if someone commits something to master.
- Proposal: session 1 of PTP hackathon is walk-thru of this.
- EclipseCon
- Multicore debugger from CDT, supports multi processes and multi cores, Greg wants to (at hackathon) start using their debug framework instead of ours.
- Greg's talk
- Science working group - Greg is on steering group, meeting this morning to work on charter (more encompassing than just IDE, repository and frameworks for developing scientific software) requires membership in Eclipse Foundation and $$$ - also aims to bridge the gap between research and industry
- Other groups involved: ORNL/Nice, Synchrotron from UK, Openchrome (chemistry software)
- Remote features move elsewhere? Available without including all of PTP - now available (independent of the PTP repository)
- Diversity of Eclipse Con
- PTP User - OpenCL - dave w - AMD static analysis - tips & tricks - invite ORNL folks (interested in OpenCL)
- Status reports
- Wyatt - bug fixing for luna - hoping to get new features in for luna
- John working on testing framework for synchronized projects - would also allow benchmark of how long things take
- Greg noted that at EclipseCon two groups using sync projects - rolled their own - one using rsync, one built own framework - some discussion on CDT mailing list
- Carston - caching mechanism for LML_DA - daemon on remote system, runs every minute and collects status data, remotes can grab cached data. can choose if you want to use cache or force entire update on your own client. now committed to master branch . UI: refresh button has popup menu indicating cache or force update . install dir now in lml_da plugin . requires add'l installation step, or else old way is used. still need to implement configuration of cache directory (now using /temp)
- Tutorials - XSEDE and SC - SC notification by July 1
- JDKs: Luna needs Java 1.7; Kepler uses 1.6 (could be compiled with 1.7 == "1.6 or later")
- Commits to ptp_7_0 - should be merged to master (doesn't require Gerrit)
