Minutes
- Please take a look at all bugs assigned to you marked M3 and update as needed
- Look at bugs marked 3.5 to see if they still make sense and are achievable for 3.5
- We will have a test writing day Thursday (October 30th)
- We reviewed the M3 plan, and will update status of M3 items this week
- Next week we will go over the M4 plan so please check it to see if there is anything missing or on the plan but not achievable
- Can FrameworkAdmin provide source bundles?
- Currently PDE reads the source.info file itself, but wants to be isolated from the file location and format
- There is a source manipulator separate from fwAdmin
- We'll enter a bug to track addition of some p2 support for this
- Can we support the product ini file having a different name than executable?
- Difficult to detect what ini file is correct for a given product
- Feedback on new UI
- Note UI in M3 is a work in progress and will change further in M4
- One click check for updates is good. Need to add ability to consult additional sites during update
- Pre-loading of repositories before opening install/update dialogs greatly improves usability
- Currently presentation is a bit fragmented between various dialogs, but this will be streamlined in M4
