• 2.0 - September 29th 2009
  • Release governed by the JPA 2.0 RI development and JavaEE 6.0 schedule
  • M5: July 13, M6: July 29, M7: Aug 19

• 1.1.X bug bucket will be removed with bugs going into either 1.1.3 or future

• No news, making progress, no blockers

JPA

• Annotation processing tool moving into development from prototype
• Criteria API updates
• Validation - basic bean validation working- blocked on CQ
  • Need CQ for an implementation - Mitesh to check on a milestone of the RI
  • Address update to the 303 API
• Only a couple of JPA 2.0 features remain

MOXy

• JAXB 2.1 Compliance - 3 test cases short of compliance (1 test case being challenged)
• Externalized metadata
  • 3rd phase of development
  • Diagnostics being improved
  • Performance fixes
• JAXB 2.1.12 CQ - permission for parallel IP usage - NO ETA

• No Changes

DBWS

• Bug fixes, some MOXy changes required - bug to be filed

Incubator

• Dynamic Persistence Demo and wiki updates
