The main goal of the Nov. 20 meeting will be to take stock of DTP 1.0. The PMC will be asking each project lead to provide status, in particular about outstanding work remaining for the 1.0 release. The PMC asks that in advance of this meeting, project leads ensure that Bugzilla is updated to reflect the actual status of DTP. In particular:

  • No open items against previous milestones (this includes M4/RC0)
  • Accurate target milestone (even if "future") for bugs/enhancements
  • Reports of enhancements or major/blocking/critical bugs that will not be addressed in DTP 1.0

  • Postpone RC0 promotion to address/verify cp export
    • Verify fix from Rob today (Monday)
    • Respin build tomorrow (11/21) as RC0 candidate
    • Test and, if all is well, promote tomorrow at 5EST
    • Otherwise, try again
  • Discussion of serialization of SQL Query model (BZ151759)
  • Discussion of DTP panel for EclipseCon: What should we do?
    • Leading thought: Have each project lead on the panel. A PMC chairs the panel. Talk about potential directions for DTP going forward, discuss with audience.
  • John suggests to change his EclipseCon talk proposal from Domain Driven Design with DTP to Using DTP with JDT
    • Community interest in this area, based on BZ and other feedback
    • Prototype some examples

Action Items

  • Project Leads: Review/clean up M4/RC0 bug list
  • Project Leads: Review/clean up 1.0 target milestone bug list
  • Project Leads: Review/clean up bugs that do not have target milestone
