Agenda

On yesterday’s Data Collection call we wanted to start drilling down into the different sections of the component. Roughly speaking, there are three major sections, the control API, the input services, and the query services.

Today’s architecture meeting will be devoted to studying the control API that Joel is currently working on.

• Data Collection API Control Layer Review
  • We will review the WSDL document, as well as the “SCDL-like” mapping document.
  • We will define a plan to incorporate the TPTP RAC as well as additional agents to demonstrate the effectiveness of the API
  • Review of current test cases exercising the API
  • We indicated that for June, the only client to the control API would be the Managed Agent Explorer. A stretch goal should the creation of a Web 2.0 like “gadget” that understands and can interact with any WSDM resource—a Web 2.0 MAX per se.
  • Creation and assignment of bugzilla features to support the above

• Chris was going to present his "Top 5 Query Services" that we can start defining and directing our efforts
  • Need to reconcile with what we have today and the work in TPTP
