Discuss the role of group and guidelines
The group is a forum where people can get together to discuss Eclipse UI issues. The group is not a regulatory body.
Review the Top Ten List
We had a lot of discussion on whether to have a general guideline list or an actionable specific list of UI items. We decided there is value to have both. We opened two bugs:
- 205321 to develop a top 10 list of UI Guiding principles
- 205326 to develop a developer checklist (similar to what is in the UI Guidelines) of about 10 items.
