PTP status

  1. 1.0 release review
    • Completed successfully
    • Version 1.0 now an official release
  2. 1.1 release planning
    • Push back release to coincide with SC06 (week of 12 November)

Project Reports

    • Nothing new to add
  2. Performance tools
    • 2 day meeting in Oregon to develop architecture for performance tools
    • Results on performance analysis page on PTP wiki - please contribute
  3. Fortran
    • Working on parser for Fortran 2003
    • Goal is to fit this within the CDT infrastructure
  4. Resource manager/runtime support update
    • Progress slower than hoped, but will still have view functionality available in 1.1 release
  5. Other

Tutorials

LANL and IBM have tutorials accepted for LACSI Symposium 2006 (October 17, Santa Fe, NM) and SC06 (November 12, Tampa, FL). These tutorials are intended to provide an introduction to using Eclipse for scientific computing. Please encourage people to attend.
