his release was essentially a maintenance release built to work with Eclipse 2022-03 (4.23).
Docker Tooling
The Docker Tooling feature has been modified to add vmargs to eclipse.ini to allow the Docker Terminal to work for later versions of Java such as Java 17. The Docker Terminal uses reflection to hijack the Docker input/output and this is restricted by the JVM unless special --add-opens options are specified. If the feature is installed, the user needs to shut down Eclipse fully and then restart as the normal IDE Restart action does not re-read the eclipse.ini file at present.
