Bi-Directional Support (BiDi)

At the Feb 11, 2008 PMC meeting, we discussed IBM's potential contribution of BiDi support in BIRT. IBM are currently pursuing their internal process for releasing this contribution to the project and there is no new updates this week.

Since devlopment has now started on BIRT 2.3 M6, this change will not be able to make it into this milestone. Based on the timeline, it is unclear if this contribution can be rolled into BIRT 2.3 at this stage. However, we will evaluate this as soon as the IBM team come back with a green light on the contribution.
