Release Notes for VIATRA2 R3.2

VIATRA2 R3.2 is the newest release of the VIATRA2 model transformation framework. R3.2 is mainly a bugfix-oriented release containing fixes for many issues, and performance as well as usability enhancements; it is compatible with Eclipse Helios. For notes on the previous major release (R3.1), refer to VIATRA/ReleaseNotes3.1

Fixed issues include:

• problem and usability fixes for the property editor (Properties view)
• fixes and enhancements for the Model Spaces view, now it is possible to initialize a model space using drag and drop, without the need for opening an editor
• various GUI and model transformation engine fixes and enhancements

Most important enhancements include:

• full-featured EMF import support, for importing and handling EMF metamodels as well as instance models
• updated help contents, based on the wiki
• extended modelspace visualization functionality, with customizable presets and filtering options
• updated BPEL2, BPMN, and UML2 importers
• add model transformation cancellation facility (terminate a running machine)
