WTP 3.6 Retrospective 08/21/2014

Things we've done well

  • PDE/CruiseControl -> Maven(CBI) migration
  • Reduce backlog of untriaged WIs (Roberto Sanchez)

Things we'd like to improve on

  • Development bootstrapping (Getting started instructions)
    • Related to Development bootstrapping, adopting tools like Gerrit (Roberto Sanchez)
  • Keeping the plugin/feature version ids synchronized with the pom.xml: Another vote for Gerrit integration (will help catch issues before build integration)(Mickael Istria)
  • Advertising Help wanted - mentoring new developers
  • Documenting (or advertising where existing documents are) core things, like .component file design (Roberto Sanchez)
