It's best not to dirty up the page to discuss a change, that's what this page is for. And those pages seem to be added by User:Nick, they don't seem to be self-promotion or anything, why delete them? Psylence519.gmail.com 16:30, 17 June 2006 (EDT)
contradiction
"Applications other than IDEs can be built using a subset of the platform" "Rich Client Platform is the minimal set of plug-ins needed to build a platform application" Looks like a contradiction to me. The first sentence says, that you can build applications with a subset of RCP and the second says you can't.
And I like to know why it's called it a rich client plattform. Has ist something to do with the client/server architecture?

The onEclipse site is no longer available. Reference to the site as "The onEclipse site lists several RCP and standalone SWT applications, in two parts: Part 1, Part 2." should be removed. It would be nice to have a list of RCP applications out in the wild that is up to date. The other links go back to 2008 at best. Thanks! --Tanis.altralogica.it (talk) 12:33, 19 November 2013 (EST)
Removed. I'll see what I can do about updating the examples. FWIW, it's okay to edit the wiki yourself.
