• Failing test suites requiring a defect:
  • Monitor.Analysis.LogImport.Linux_IA32.testsuite: Alex will add the defect number to the execution result (Remote log import with filters doesn't work when security is enabled on the agent controller).
  • Monitor.Analysis.LogImport_Windows_IA32.testsuite: Alex will add the defect number to the execution result (Remote log import with filters doesn't work when security is enabled on the agent controller).

• Defects failing test suites:
  • Platform Project:
    • Profiling file not created when detaching, changing file, and remonitoring: Included in below list.
    • Remote log import with filters doesn't work when security is enabled on the agent controller: Not included in below list. Not sure if the consuming product requires this defect.
    • Remove TOC references to non-GA components: Targeted to future. Test case should be marked inconclusive.
    • Broken links in Platform docs: Fixed. Test case should be marked passed.
  • Trace Project:
    • New context provider doesn't work: Targeted to future. Test case should be marked inconclusive.

• RC4 (final RC) was originally scheduled for Friday, June 6.
  • It has been delayed until the official RC4 date for +3 projects (Wednesday, June 11).
  • On last week's AG call, we discussed the possibility of a point release (e.g. 4.5.0.1) to resolve defects that cannot be contained in 4.5.0 but are required by the community or a consuming product.
    • We are attempting to eliminate the need for a point release (e.g. 4.5.0.1) by delaying RC4 (final RC) to resolve the remaining defects required by the community or a consuming product.

• Remaining I8 defects to be completed:
  • Profiling file not created when detaching, changing file, and remonitoring
  • Probekit build failed with integrated Harmony Verifier patch available.
  • Agent Discoverer filters cannot be edited
  • Attaching/monitoring a Logging Agent hangs.
  • Linux AC mysteriously vanishes
  • Random intermitten errors while launching a test against remote agents
  • command line and runtime workbench unsatisfied link error
  • Execution of any testsuite fails using the IAC InactiveProcessException

• Remaining I8 defects NOT completed:
  • (POG) (Doc) No documentation on Call Tree, Session Summary and Thread Analysis view
  • Duplicated JavaDef.h headers in BCI sources
  • NPE when closing an Eclipse Application with some profiling content
  • Provide TPTP Testing Process (part 1 and part 2).
  • TPTP profiler doesn't work since last Eclipse update
  • secure ACServer started after the workbench is ignored
  • Cumulative CPU Time is 0 or unexpectedly small for jvmpi results
  • Accessibility: Window-Eyes unable to read Profile Dialog buttons
  • Accessibility: Adding additional mnemonics for UML2 sequence panel in preferences dialog
  • Accessibility: Windows Eyes gives no description of button functions
  • TVT34:TCT691: SV: Thred Visualizer's Legend in Swinglish
  • TVT34:TCT749: The English text is misplaced in the Arabic string
  • TVT34:TCT746: The English text should be on the right side
  • TVT34:TCT742: The English text should be on the right side of the string
  • TVT34:TCT744: The English text is missed up with the Arabic text
  • TVT34:TCT740: Right clicking on the log interaction is inactive.

  • Remote log import with filters doesn't work when security is enabled on the agent controller: Not sure if the consuming product requires this defect. Alex will confirm.

Notes

• The AG call for the next three weeks (June 16, 23, and 30) will be canceled.

Action Items

• Defect owners for the 'Remaining I8 defects NOT completed' list, please target these defects to future and mark the failed test cases (see 'Defects failing test suites') as inconclusive.

• Alex to confirm if Remote log import with filters doesn't work when security is enabled on the agent controller is required by the consuming product and add this defect number to the execution results (see 'Failing test suites requiring a defect').

• Committers to complete the outstanding test suites.
