General Policies for Communications
We've got a number of channels for communications, so it's good to know where to go for what you need. Clarification lives here at this page, plus an expanding list of conventions and approaches on using them (especially by the administrators).
Administration
Removal from an Email List
Removal from an STP email list will occur on the occasions of permanent bounces, as evidenced by messages from the mailman administration software when it uses messages like
- Delivery of email to this address user@example.org failed due to an unknown mailbox.
- Delivery to the following recipients failed permanently: user@example.org
