Schedule 2020-09
- Please review the 2020-09 schedule available in the Google Calendar and summarized on the wiki : https://wiki.eclipse.org/Category:SimRel-2020-09
Align Java release with Eclipse release
- Not to change as Java release dates can't be changed and we don't want eclipse to change versions due to Java release date change
- Easier for JDT to ship first on the marketplace so there is a bit more stabilization time rather than pressure to release
Simrel 2020-03
- Small issue with M1 release dates, fixed and in good state now
- M2 seem in good shape
- Jonah will do EPP M2 but no reply from Markus so best effort from Jonah
- Who does M3? Wait for M2 to see if the actual work expected is clearer.
Planning council future
- Working group as a future handling EPP, simrel, installer?
- Rules to be defined by Planning council, deliverables come from various projects
- Working group is the place to discuss marketplace and other broader topics not just bring money
- Put current simrel repo and etc in separate project or merge with EPP? No changes for now.
EPP project is a project like every other and Planning council treats it like that, no additional requests
