PTP Status

  • 2.1.3 released July 17
  • No schedule for 2.1.4, will release as necessary
  • 3.0
    • Dave and Greg have been working on service model changes
    • Resource managers now use service model, old RMs still available in transition
  • Propose to move 3.0 release date to Oct 31
    • Works better for IBM product release
    • NCSA would like new service model functionality (simplified configuration) to be available
    • Greg to post to ptp-dev for confirmation

Photran Status (Jeff)

  • Getting ready for release
  • 4/5 people now working on it
  • Looking at PTP integration issues
  • CPP integration almost finished, hope to include in release
  • New refactorings have been added
  • User manual now available on wiki (http://wiki.eclipse.org/PTP/photran/documentation)
  • Windows installer package available

Other Business

  • U. Florida (Max) working with ETF and UPC
    • Making progress, but missing some pieces to make everything work together
    • Not looked at runtime yet
  • ISP Status (Beth)
    • Adds functionality for matching MPI sends/recvs (amongst others)
    • Planning to donate to PTP
  • Tutorials
    • Cluster 09
    • SC09
  • Next X10 release to use PTP launch configuration and RM support
