Discuss important 3.0.3 bugs

Wrong logic to discriminate application client jars

• We have discussed the issue and summarized in comment #20 of the bug. Dimitar will wait for Jason to agree and will prepare new patch.

JavaEE Module Dependencies page deletes file from workspace, causes NPE

• Carl will review the patch in this bug. In any way the patch should go through a PMC approval, because there is new NL string introduced as a tooltip text.

251809 deadlock during project modification

• Accepted as a hotbug Carl will investigate.

3.1 plan

define Java EE 6 enhancements

• We haven't defined anything under the Java EE 6 theme for the Java EE Tools plan.
• We should open enhancements for the following topics:
  • define facets
  • generate models from the xml schemas
  • extensibility of Java EE artifact wizards - model related
  • Servlet 3.0 support - as deferred

prioritize project plan

We have decided to defer some of the items that does not have the needed development resources for the current moment. Later we can promote them back to the proposed section.

• Update models when Java EE artifact class is deleted [228625]
• [j2ee] Support wildcards for runtime types in extension points [162465]
• [servlets] Servlet generation in an Utility project [128253]
