IoT and Edge Computing

Group meeting for anyone interested in the IoT, Edge and Sparkplug workinggroups

Session proposals

For the time being, the following segments have been suggested for the event:

  • Everyone — Eclipse IoT project updates, Presentations (5 slides each per project), ~60 minutes
  • Kai Hudalla — The new "Endorse Me" feature that allows including non-member logos on project pages, Presentation, 15 mins
  • Gaël Blondelle — Have a common session with the Automotive Working Groups to discuss synergies and cross-fertilization
  • Frédéric Desbiens — The Eclipse Edge Computing working group, Discussion, 60 minutes
  • Jens Reimann – IoT demo/hands on, acquire some data, gather/store/aggregate, re-use in the "cloud world" -> read more details here: Cloud Native Community Events 2019


  • Nicolas Generali/Pierre Terrée - best practices and issues about the integration of IOT Open Source Stacks with Hardware proprietary sensors (with proprietary firmware and APIs).
