The goal of Gutenberg is to cobble up the initial infrastructure to allow people to write wiki pages on wiki.eclipse.org that can be extracted and turned into Eclipse help pages. Basically: wiki pages will be marked with a special [help file] tag and the project name and then the Gutenberg code will crawl those links and turn the wiki pages into help file pages. The resulting help files and toc file will be packaged up as an Eclipse plug-in and available to the project for inclusion in their download.

In order to extend Gutenberg to multi-language, we'd just have a standard way to name alternate language versions of each page (maybe a [language fr_FR] tag or something) and then Gutenberg can extract that as well.

Gutenberg as a Babel sub-project seems reasonable.
