The Eclipse Summit 2009 which will take place in Ludwigsburg, Germany 27th - 29th of October.

As part of the agenda it will host the Eclipse RT Tutorial and the RT Symposium.

Eclipse RT Tutorial

...

RT Symposium

The RT Symposium is a forum for all people in the Eclipse community that are building or consuming projects from the RT segment. Eclipse has rapidly changed from being an Eclipse IDE synonym to also being a runtime platform with projects like Equinox, EclipseLink, ECF, RCP, RAP, Riena, Swordfish, eRCP and many other projects. Other projects which are not hosted in the RT toplevel project also have runtime aspects in there project i.e. BIRT, EMF etc.

The Symposium is a good place to discuss issues, problems or present ideas, experiences specific that you or your users are making when you use components from RT.

Planned Agenda

After an introduction round we would like to gather topics for 3 categories

  • Architecture
  • Community, Delivery of components, Target Platform, Release Train
  • Experience Reports (we like to hear from people who use RT components and their experience)

The idea is to gather topics around these 3 categories and divide the available time equally between the three categories (plus some coffee breaks).

If you like to show a few slides that highlights a topic or issue in any of these areas you can do so. Please no more than 5 minutes plus some time for questions and discussions. All people who like to do please contact me (<a href="mailto:christian.campo@compeople.de">christian.campo@compeople.de</a>) and please attach the slides so that we can group content together where it makes sense.
