Discussion

When planning for EclipseCon, it's important to keep in mind the expected audience. EclipseCon has traditionally been focused on the Eclipse development community. For many Eclipse developers this is their chance to put faces to the names and voices that they interact with all year.

Should there be more focus on the consumer and end-user community members in the future? Would opening up the audience take away from the core EclipseCon experience? Is it more desirable to run a separate end user "Eclipse in Action" conference that is focused on the end user?
