Call for Interest! You are invited to join us for a session on creating an Industrial Automation Working Group at the Eclipse Foundation.

The session will happen during the Eclipse Community Day at EclipseCon Europe 2019, on the afternoon of Monday, October 21, 2019, at the Forum in Ludwigsburg.

As Industrie 4.0 is a software revolution, it is imperative that the necessary base software remains open and available, and that the continuous development of the software stack is ensured. The Eclipse Foundation is a partner in several research projects related to Robotics and Industry 4.0 including RobMoSys, BaSys and Arrowhead Tools. In addition, several Eclipse projects such as 4DIAC, Ditto, Brain IoT, etc. address the concerns of Industry 4.0 and the Industrial Internet of Things.

The working group will give us a chance to consolidate these projects into an open-source software stack for Industrie 4.0.

Please add your topics and potential contributions (e.g., short talks and presentations) to this page. If you know others that might be interested in contributing and participating, please share this invitation with them.
