Announcements

  • We need to track what is going into the builds. Components that don't list what is going into the build risk being removed from the e4 build. Including bug numbers in your commit comment is the easiest way to meet this requirement because our releng tools can then harvest the required data automatically.

Minutes

  • Merging e4 resource changes in 3.6
  • Changes in team/CVS bundles
  • Still a need for e4 resource branch until all changes are merged
  • Contexts
    • Cleanup of API and implementation
    • Combine injection with JSR 330-compliant injection
  • Owner draw of CTabFolder/ETabFolder using Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG)
  • Model event publishing in place
  • How much data should we pass for event changes
    • Passing less data would allow for collapsing events to reduce storms
    • Passing more data allows clients to react more intelligently/efficiently
    • Also need to make the API easier to program
  • Working on e4 tests, including event tests
  • Figuring out how to debug web views running in a browser
    • Crossfire remote JS debug protocol
    • Still no tools for inspecting network traffic, browsing DOM, etc
  • Working on integrating OpenSocial gadgets into Eclipse web views
  • Code in e4 CVS containing some OpenSocial gadgets
  • e4 commands integration with contexts in progress
    • Using injection for commands, including injection on method invocation
