* On the cross-project-issues-dev mailing list, a recent thread on "com.ibm.icu requirement" describes that the com.ibm.icu bundle should be included using the "Import-Package" directives instead of "Require-Bundle".  Most, if not all, of the DTP plugins have been using "Require-Bundle" for ICU.  Should we change all our plugin manifests to use "Import-Package" instead?

Agenda

  • Deadlines coming fast
    • 1.6.2
      • 1.6.2 RC1 I-Build on January 30, 2009 SH time -- anything after that and before the RC2 build requires team lead approval for checkin
      • 1.6.2 RC2 I-Build on February 6, 2009 SH time -- anything after that requires PMC approval
      • Though we would like to have our final RC3 candidate build ready by February 13, we can perform builds as late as February 20th to be ready for EPP packaging on February 23rd. We would prefer to have a RC3 candidate done by February 17th at the latest, but can build (if a critical, showstopper bug appears) as late as February 20th.
    • 1.7 (Galileo)
      • 1.7 M5 I-Build on January 27, 2009 SH time -- then we enter a test& fix phase until Monday February 2, 2009 SH time
      • Nightly builds continue, so any fixes for broken things need to be delivered -- hold off on post-M5 deliveries until February 6, 2009 SH time
  • There are still 15 bugs in the 1.6.2 list that should be dispositioned... Running out of time for 1.6.2 -- bump to future or Galileo please [Here's the query.]
  • On the cross-project-issues-dev mailing list, a recent thread on "com.ibm.icu requirement" describes that the com.ibm.icu bundle should be included using the "Import-Package" directives instead of "Require-Bundle". Most, if not all, of the DTP plugins have been using "Require-Bundle" for ICU. Should we change all our plugin manifests to use "Import-Package" instead?
  • [Weekly Nag] We are back up to ~22 bugs with no target milestone set that need to be dispositioned. Please keep at this list daily if at all possible. [Here's the query.]
