The eclipse.import Component Reader can import features and plugins from your platform or an arbitrary site and make them projects in your workspace.
The reader provides functionality similar to the IDE options to import External Features and External Plug-ins and Fragments with the addition that the site acting as the source of the import can be a remote update site. The type of import - binary, linked, or source - is controlled using URL parameters in the repository locator. Examples of how to use is needed
