= BIRT 2.5 Development =

Milestone 6 was released on March 18 and is available for download from the [http://download.eclipse.org/birt/downloads/build.php?build=M-R1-2.5M6-200903181537 Eclipse BIRT download area].  A [http://www.eclipse.org/birt/phoenix/project/notable2.5M6.php New and Notable document for Milestone 6] has also been published.

Any and all testing of Milestone 6 would be appreciated.  As usual, please report any problems via Bugzilla.

We are now working on Milestone 7.

== General Information for BIRT 2.5 ==

BIRT 2.5 is the next major release of the BIRT project. It is part of the [[Galileo Simultaneous Release]].

The Milestone schedule for the release is available in the timeline section of the [[Galileo Simultaneous Release]] page. BIRT is a +2 project in the Galileo release.
