Where to get Stardust?

Stardust is a code contribution from SunGard based on the Infinity Process Platform (IPP).
While we're still in the process of handing the platform over as Open Source to the Eclipse Foundation the original Infinity IDE can be downloaded from SunGard's Storefront Portal as a free evaluation copy.

How to install?

The Stardust IDE is comprised of a set of Eclipse Plug-Ins which are tested to run on Eclipse 3.6 (Helios). See here for instructions how to download Eclipse and install the Stardust Plug-Ins.

First Steps

  • Get acquainted with basic BPM modeling techniques
  • Run a simple BPM process in debug mode
  • Run the Stardust web application inside the Eclipse IDE
  • Deploy your BPM artifacts (models, binaries, UI forms) into a Stardust runtime
  • Execute manual user tasks and manage your processes in the Stardust web portal
