CeBIT March 2-6, 2010 Hanover, Germany http://www.cebit.de
- expected to have 5,500 visitors
- Eclipse member companies have the opportunity to participate in an "Eclipse Island"
- The Eclipse Island will be centrally located in CeBIT's Open Source Park, Hall 2
- The island can hold 4 to 7 exhibitor stands
- Eclipse will be the overall branding/signage for the area, but the individual stands will have signage identifying each participating member
- 4 members have committed to participate so we will go ahead: Actuate, Bredex, EclipseSource and Sopera
- There is still an opportunity for 3 (possibly more) members to participate
- Cost is 2500 EUR for a working place - the 300 EUR listing fee has been waived for us and if more than 4 companies join, there is potential for a further price reduction
What's Included
- Signage for Eclipse and the participating company logos around the Eclipse island
- Big screen & seating area for us to present DemoCamp-style presentations
- Exhibitor listing in the CeBIT guide
- 1 working place per company: high table, 1-2 chairs, branding panel (a flat screen monitor is not included but can be ordered for an additional fee)
- Wireless access
- 1 booth pass per company, 4 total
- Use of separate meeting rooms
- Storage, back office, wardrobe, catering and use of cafeteria
Promotion Ideas
- Press release from the Foundation
- Hold a DemoCamp that week - group thinks this is probably too much to take on
- Flyers for a future DemoCamp
- Speaking slot at CeBIT
- Prize giveaways
