The Corona demo illustrates basic event collaboration between multiple Eclipse Workbench instances. This demo will be continuously updated as new features and capabilities of Corona are introduced.
The demo includes both client (Eclipse Workbench) and server (Corona server-side Eclipse platform) distributions.
Corona Server
- Install the Corona server
- Download the distribution
- Unzip Corona server
- Start the Corona server
- change directories to where the Corona sever was installed
- run the command: __corona__
Corona (Workbench) Client
- Install Eclipse 3.2RC3 (or later)
- Install Corona client plugins
- Download [Corona client|plugins.zip] distribution
- corona_0.2.0_demo_client.zip
- Note: includes both Equinox event and ECF bundles
- Unzip Corona client to the Eclipse 3.2RC3 plugin folder
- Update the Eclipse configuration config.ini
- Modify the settings for __osgi.bundles__
- Append the following plugins to be automatically started
- org.eclipse.ecf@3:start
- org.eclipse.corona.ecf.client@4:start
- org.eclipse.corona.collaboration.client@5:start
- Append the following plugins to be automatically started
- Modify the settings for __osgi.bundles__
- Download [Corona client|plugins.zip] distribution
- Start Eclipse Workbench
- Configure Eclipse Workbench
- Modify Corona Preferences
- Open the Corona preferences page: Window/Preferences/Corona
- Set the IP & port of the Corona server
- Modify Corona Preferences
- Open the Corona Collaboration View
- Window/Show Views/Other/Corona
- Select Event List

Create a Collabration Project
- Create Workbench project named "TestCollaboration""
- Note: Do not put any spaces in project name. The project name is used to identify the workgroup
- Add Collaboration Nature to project
- Right-Mouse-Click on project, select __Corona Collaboration__
- Create Workbench project named "TestCollaboration""
- Update the Collaboration Project
- All local workbench project events should be shared with the workgroup.
