Welcome to the EclipseCon 2013 volunteers page!

About EclipseCon 2013

We're excited about the changes to EclipseCon this year. This year, the conference will take place in Boston, MA, and are co-located once again with Agile ALM Connect, and OSGi DevCon 2013. The Seaport Hotel and World Trade Center is a beautiful venue right next to the Boston Harbor, and just a few minutes away from downtown!

Volunteer Orientation

Will take place on Monday at 8:00 am in the Dartmouth room on the Plaza Level (Thrid level) of the World Trade Center.

What will you be doing?

1. Monday

  • Helping out with tutorials all day

2. Tuesday to Thursday: We will assign you to a room for half a day (everyday)

  • Handing out angenda's before keynotes every morning
  • Time keeping
  • Noting the number of attendees in the room (at the start and end of each session)

Which tutorial?

Please let us know what 2 tutorials you'd like to be assigned too and we'll try our best to assign you to at least one of them. Add your name to a morning tutorial and an afternoon tutorial.

Create an Eclipse Account and an EclipseCon Account

Travel, Lodging and Food

Please note that the Eclipse Foundation is not responsible for lodging and travel costs. You will also need to pay for most of your own food. Lunch will be provided everyday, snacks and beverages on Monday and appetizers and beverages on Tuesday afternoon, but breakfast and dinner is not included. There are many restaurants near the hotel.
