This illustration shows a EclipseLink database Web service deployed to OC4J. The client uses the generated EclipseLink database Web service WSDL to invoke operations by way of SOAP messages to the EclipseLink database Web service servlet bound to the EclipseLink database Web service provider deployed to the OC4J Web services stack. The servlet uses generated EclipseLink object-relational and XML projects to permit persistence operations on persistent objects, as well as to invoke stored procedures.
