I use the term co-programming to talk about two people closely collaborating via two separate machines to distinguish it from pair programming where two people work via the same machine. - Bjorn

Thanks for your input Bjorn. Even though your differentiation makes sense, I'm still inclined to use the term 'pair programming', since it is widely known and the name of the practice to be initially supported by Cola. - Mustafa
