Revision as of 00:51, 15 February 2008

Attendees

  • Present:
    • Alex Nan
    • Rohit Shetty
    • Yasuhisa Gotoh
  • Absent:
    • Richard Yun Song Huang - on vacation
    • Hariharan Narayanan - ill

4.4.1

  • Linux monitoring agents and remote log import failing tests have been rerun
  • no problems found in the monitoring project components
  • need to run a smoke test with the new candidate driver

4.5

  • Alex fixed bug 218262
  • broken 4.5 test suites fixed by Rohit bug 201936 and Gotoh-san bug 202864
  • Gotoh-san has made progress on the remaining symptom tests automation bug 207251 but found an AGR limitation for the symptom editor Add/Remove buttons context menus
  • Alex suggested to test only the actions which are associated to the symptom editor's tree context menu and the Symptom Editor sub menu in the Eclipse main menu
  • Paul reopened the two Websphere PMRs bug 207763 and bug 207806 fixed at the beginning of i5, looks like Alex forgot to check in the patches
  • Alex assigned tests to each team member
  • Alex assigned monitoring BTM tests to Matt since Richard is on vacation, returning on February 18th, 2008
  • Alex retargeted almost all remaining 4.5 defects to i6 or i7
  • Hari's remaining defects were not targeted yet, waiting response from manager M R Ananda
  • Joanna targeted some LTA defects belonging to the platform project too
  • Gotoh-san remarks that bug 213226 assigned to i7 requires PII changes so it would need to be moved to i6
  • Alex thinks that all the assigned 4.5 i5 tests are not containable by end of day Friday, so he will look into dropping some of the tests which are less relevant
  • end of i6 development is API freeze (03/14/2008) and end of i6 is PII freeze (04/04/2008)
  • all defects requiring PII or API changes will need to be addressed in i6
  • doc changes are still allowed after 04/04/2008 but it is good practice to check in the major doc changes by 04/04/2008 (M6)
  • last doc drop before GA: Doc3 06/10/2008
