To create a full Stardust Runtime Environment on Amazon Web Services EC2 Infrastructure, go to the [Stardust Procurement Page in the AWS Marketplace:https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/B00FOV9T98/ref=srh_res_product_title?ie=UTF8&sr=0-2&qid=1381179179287] and click Continue or click [here:https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/ordering/ref=dtl_psb_continue?ie=UTF8&productId=27675133-14aa-447c-9d7f-51973b115aa2].

You will be asked to login with an existing Amazon account or to register for one.

Launch with one 1-Click will launch the Stardust Runtime on your EC2 environment of choice. The AWS Virtual Machine Image (AMI) is configured to run on all Instance Types including the Standard Micro (t1.micro) type and your choice depends entirely on the expected load profile. For first experiments the Standard Micro is sufficient.

Please consider that although there are no charges for Stardust, Amazon charges you for most of the EC2 configurations.

Select your data center region of choice - the Stardust AMI is available for all AWS data center regions.

After you have launched your instance and the instance is available, lookup the Public DNS Name for the instance and login with

http://<Public DNS Name>:8080/stardust-standard

and use the Portal as described in the Stardust documentation.

If you are keen to start playing and do not bother to create a Process Model at this point you may e.g. the Rental Fleet exampl model and just upload and deploy under Administration > Model Management
