On the server node, go to 'Common Services' | 'Sql Services'. Right click on the node to create a new 'SQL Service' [1]. For class name, enter DerbySqlService
and choose AbstractDerbySqlService
as supertype [2]. Click finish to create the SQL service. This creates you the SQL service to access your Derby database. Also, the service registration in plugin.xml of the server Plug-In is done by Scout SDK automatically.
Finally you have to configure the path to your Derby database and specify username and password. Thereto, click on the created DerbySqlService
. In the Scout Property View, change the properties Jdbc Mapping Name
, Username
and Passord
accordingly.
