Description

Exec Method are present in Page, Form, Fields, Actions... The abstract class contains a default implementation that can be overridden in the concrete child class.

 @Override
 protected ... execXxxxxxx(...) throws ProcessingException{
   //specific logic here
 }

The scout framework call them when the event they represent occurs (value changed, form is validating, ...) These methods provide to the scout developer a way to add the business logic to the different elements: control that a value is in a specific range, disable an action if some conditions are not meet...

These execXxxxxxx(...) methods are not intended to be called directly, even if it is possible to call them inside the class (visibility is protected).
