Installation instructions

Qompass is part of the extra plugins in Papyrus. In order to install it, open the standard Eclipse installation dialog (Help->Install New Software). Within, select the Papyrus update site (assuming that Papyrus is already installed. Otherwise, choose the update site, as shown in Papyrus update). When the Papyrus update site is selected, deselect the "group items by category" option and search for Qompass. You will find the basic Qompass feature.

Since Eclipse Luna, there is a simpler method: once Papyrus is installed, choose Help->Install Additional Papyrus Components. The dialog will show the list of available components (Papyrus discovery site). Choose Qompass from the list.

As Qompass is extensible, support for additional containers and interaction components is available in model libraries that are part of additional Qompass plugins. These can be loaded via the first method shown above (Help->Install New Software).

Provided Examples

A good starting point for Papyrus are example models enriches with comments. These examples are available via File->New->Example, category Qompass.
