     • 5.0 Indigo - 5.0.5 released Feb 17; Indigo SR2 (incl. 5.0.5) was Feb 24

     • Status and location of builds now on Hudson (Juno, Indigo, and 4.1)

• Releases
  • PTP 5.0.5 was released Feb. 15 - and with Eclipse SR2 2/24/2012;
  • PTP 5.0.6 was released yesterday March 14;
  • PTP 5.0.7 may be released if bug fixes warrant it.
• Downloads as of today: 17,166 of the parallel package (see bottom of this page for more details)
• Jeff: working with Blue Waters test system and Juno Release
• Mar. 20 is next Juno milestone - M6. We are not freezing API yet. Need to get build and packages resolved.
  • The contributed resource managers feature is not in the package. Should it be?
• LinuxTools is moving to CDT (some of it). Need to discuss what's in our package
• Build locations: on build.eclipse.org, 5.0.x/date directories - use a lot of disk space. Juno builds will only keep the last build in builds/juno/nightly. Greg will make an index.html page so it can be accessed via web.

• PTP Juno release goals (Greg):
  • separation of control and monitoring in Resource Managers. In fact concept of resource managers will disappear.
  • Res Manager concept hurts usability. Future will not require pre-configuration of RM
    • On Launch page, just choose config file and connection
    • Output appears on a console directly.
  • Monitoring - e.g. on a system with a Job Scheduler
  • Legacy Resource Managers will still work. Perhaps a separate run configuration for these?

• Environment Management (by Jeff) looks good
• John Eblen - Synchronized Projects
  • Goals: 1. Merging Support 2. Relocation of projects copy/move/delete 3. New project wizard - waiting on CDT patch; Conversion wizard needs to match.
  • CDT new project wizard - "prototype" wizard available
  • Brian wants large project with multiple file systems, each pointing to (same) shared file system. Sync all? sync active?

• Claudia - working on several bug fixes
  • unix MOTD foils remote monitoring - if it contains XML tags, it corrupts the data stream - Claudia will discuss at scaling meeting on Thursday
  • Usage bars are possible
  • decided against using net-table
• Greg interested in knowing how to show usage bars
• Wolfgang trying to get data from GPUs via job scheduler to show in system monitoring perspective

• Paratools controls BG/Q via PBS - awaiting eclipse legal to contribute to PTP

• Jeff - Photran bugs prioritized.
  • New PLDT extension point for analysis
  • Mariano (Argentina) working on new features
  • Chris Navarro has fixed debugger bug (wrong listener)

• DaveW - minor fixes only

• User meeting - Jeff guest host; Galen covered gprof and gcov.
  • Next user meeting - reschedule so it doesn't conflict with EclipseCon - move to April 4
• CDT would like remote support without depending on RDT - but no agreement on how to integrate in CDT. May be interested in sync. project too.

Download numbers, by month, of 'IDE for Parallel Application Developers' available on http://eclipse.org/downloads. This count is since the release of Eclipse Indigo SR1, on 23 Sept. 2011. SR2 was made available on Feb 24, 2012 and the download numbers were reset to 0 for SR2 counts.
