PTP 8.0 (Luna)
Development Builds - "Nightly"
- *Currently broken* PTP Luna update site is from the ptp-nightly-build job on the PTP Hudson build server - from the master branch of the git code repository - for the Luna release (scheduled for summer 2014 release)
- This can also be used as an update site directly from Eclipse: http://download.eclipse.org/tools/ptp/builds/luna/nightly
- PTP 8.1.0 - targeted for Luna SR1 release end of September
Release builds
Summary of the branches and builds Sept 2014
This currently seems to be in flux but here is what is believed to be current:
- Hudson build ptp-nightly is being built from git branch ptp_8_0 (or master?), to http://download.eclipse.org/tools/ptp/builds/8.1.0 -- and this is our Luna SR1 build - PTP 8.1
- Hudson build ptp-release is old
- Hudson build ptp-maint is setup to build from git branch ptp_7_0 branch - but a build hasn't been done since the switch, so build artifacts from this build are not current.
I believe that after Luna SR1 release we'll probably be at:
- ptp-nightly will be from git master branch, for Mars release, probably PTP 8.2 or 9.0?
- ptp-release will be from git ptp_8_??? branch, for Luna release 8.1.????, bug fixes and eventually Luna SR2
- ptp-maint will be from git ptp_7_0 branch, if another build of Kepler PTP 7.x is needed.
