Xtext
New features added to Xtext:
- Outline view supports now definition of Viewpoints
- Definition of styles for keywords
- Xtext implements the Resource API of EMF
- Xtext supports referencing other EMF resources
New Backend
Arno is working on the new backend. It is now potentially in a running state.
We'll start working on a rework of the "frontends" Xpand/Xtend/Check by the end of february.
Build
Branch build is running, but tests are failing. Reason is not insufficient memory. But we do not invest time yet, since build artifacts are OK. HEAD build was deactivated until HEAD has been stabilized.
XSD Metamodel
Moritz has implemented a new metamodel implementation for XSD schema. It is based upon XSD Infoset. Next to do is ensure that headers are correct and the plugin structure is correct. Also 2 known issues are currently fixed. The XSD metamodel will result in a new feature.
When the projects are stable we will port them to M2T. Porting needs adaption to the new backend.
