Overview

The Model to Text (M2T) project focuses on the generation of textual artifacts from models. Its purpose is threefold:

  • Provide implementations of industry standard and defacto Eclipse standard model-to-text engines
  • Provide exemplary development tools for these languages
  • Provide common infrastructure for this languages.

Components

The Model to Text (M2T) project has the following components

  • M2T-JET - the JET template language
  • M2T-MTL - the Model to Text Language (the OMG standard)
  • M2T-Xpand - The Xpand template language
  • M2T-M2TCore - APIs for invoking M2T components, independent of language
  • M2T-M2TShared - components shared by M2T language components
