Here are some useful little bits of information about using the mailing lists. The idea here is to add helpful tips, like how to setup an out of office assistant that will not reply to the mailing list, and other useful things that make using the mailing lists a pleasant experience.

Out Of Office - Auto Response

When you subscribe to a Mailing List(s), please very careful when enabling your "Out Of Office ( OOO ) - Auto Response" setting. Set up your "OOO", making sure that your subscribed Mailing List(s) e-mail addresses are ignored ( i.e. users@hudson.dev.java.net[users@hudson.java.net] ). This feature can be found in most e-mail programs ( Outlook, Lotus Notes, etc. ) Failure to do so will result in a high amount of repeated e-mail traffic.
