A requirement of the Eclipse Simultaneous Release process is that components document how consumers can reduce the visibility of the components UI elements. The standard Eclipse mechanism for doing this are Capabilities. Since Capability specifications are often specific to the consuming product, M2T-JET does not ship any capabilities as part of its distribution. However, M2T-JET does provide examples of capabilities for JET.

  • A sample plug-in defining JET Capabilities is available in CVS.
  • The capabilities themselves are specified in the samples plugin.xml file.

A product wishing to restrict the visibility of JET UI elements can either adopt the above plug-in, or copy (and then perhaps modify) the capabilities as express in the sample plugin.xml.
