Meeting Minutes

  • Red Hat is building Bower and npm integration as part of JBoss Tools. Once the npm integration is completed it can be moved to WTP. Demo for Bower integration
  • There is a need for a node.js integration component: AP: Gorkem to create a bugzilla item for node.js integration
  • The CQ JSON Editor contribution is progressing, we should expect it to land soon. AP: Chuck will check if somebody from his team can work on integrating and hardening once the contribution lands on WTP.
  • JSON Editor is probably a better fit to be included on SSE than JSDT
  • We need extension points in JSDT that can open JSDT services to be 3rd party providers such as Tern.java. AP: Victor to work on a proposal for such an extension point with help from Angelo Zerr.
  • HTML validation also needs integration points for custom validators especially for frameworks such as angular. We do not seem to have bugzilla entries associated with this. AP:Gorkem to open related items.
  • Some items on the plan are point to JBoss Tools Jiras. AP: Red Hat team to move relevant items to bugzilla.
  • Denis started working on researching possible debugging solutions for JavaScript.
