Gemini Meeting - Tues Oct 25, 2011

Subproject Updates
- JPA
  - Working out some build issues before starting dev on next branch
  - Need to re-work build to use new DBAccess bundles and enterprise OSGi API jar from Orbit
- DBAccess
  - Added support for MySQL
    - Created stubs for compiling but the stubs are not part of the distributed bundle
    - "Works-with" CQ already exists for MySQL
  - Refactored to create an additional common bundle
  - Question about non-P2 dependencies - Tycho allows Maven dependencies as well
- Management
  - All approvals obtained but Lazar still doesn't have commit rights to the repo. He will create a bug for this.
  - Fixed build to use OSGi enterprise JAR from Orbit
  - Bug fix also pending commit rights
  - Need to add tests and doc
- Web
  - Submitted changes to run Web with Naming
  - Removed Spring dependency
    - Found code in Blueprint class to replace Spring dep
    - Violeta will investigate whether that code can be cloned and what needs to be done to ensure proper IP policies
  - Preparing to get a milestone out
  - Action: Mike to talk to Bob about a Naming release
Git Migration
- JPA, DBAccess and Management planning to move to git soon, but not right away
- Action: Mike to send out blog entry that a user sent him describing migrating from SVN to git
