The Eclipse Foundation strongly believes that facilitating networking and face-to-face interactions is key to fostering the Eclipse community. One way the Foundation supports this initiative is through regional Eclipse Days. An Eclipse Day is an event that may be focused on a particular geographic region or a particular industry. It is an event that has a set, published agenda and lasts a full day. Note that Eclipse Days are different from the DemoCamp program the Eclipse Foundation runs periodically. DemoCamps are considerably more informal with flexible agendas, and typically last 2 or 3 hours.

Here are some guidelines and tips to help you plan an Eclipse Day for your local community or industry.
